Maintenance Technician – Guest Repair & Facility Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. You will work closely with guests and internal teams to resolve maintenance issues quickly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests, communicate solutions and follow‑up.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment and mechanical room assets.
• Visually inspect equipment, identify shut‑off valves and operate utility shut‑offs.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Carry out surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical components, TV units and other guestroom items.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Input air‑handler schedules and adjust temperature settings via computer.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards and incidents.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry and general building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, lift up to 50 lb and follow safety protocols.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and strong communication skills.
