Manual QA Tester

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Manual QA Tester to validate software applications before release. The successful candidate will execute test cases, document defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and scenarios to verify functionality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to define testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, checklists, and documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs using clear reproduction steps.
• Retest resolved defects and conduct regression testing after updates.
• Test web applications across browsers, devices, and environments as required.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress.
• Participate in release testing, quality validation, and user acceptance testing when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manual QA testing or a similar quality‑assurance role.
• Hands‑on experience creating and executing manual test cases.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, especially for documenting defects.

Required skills

• Manual software testing and QA principles.
• Test case design and execution.
• Bug tracking and test‑management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
• Functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing techniques.
• Basic understanding of web technologies, browsers, APIs, and databases.
