Associate - Technology Support Specialist (On-site)

About the role

Within Enterprise Technology, the On-site Technology Support Specialist (Associate) provides on-site support for EY's people, covering hardware, software and end-user technology in a fast-paced environment. The role requires prioritizing tasks and working across multiple technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the deployment, installation, configuration and testing of firm hardware and software.
• Support provisioning and deprovisioning, including onboarding new hires and collecting hardware from departing employees.
• Assist with or coordinate repairs of end-user hardware and software reinstalls to resolve incidents.
• Resolve incidents on firm-standard hardware, software and mobile technologies and identify trends to prevent future issues.
• Provide after-hours support for escalated issues under minimal supervision.
• Perform asset management activities such as procurement, inventory, tracking and distribution in line with EY policies.
• Support off-site technology needs for firm-sponsored meetings, events, office moves and relocations.
• Act as "remote hands" for other EY Technology teams such as Telecommunications and Hosting.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve technology issues that could affect productivity.

Required profile

• Approximately 2-4 years of experience in end-user technology support.
• Ideally a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting office moves, technology deployments or large user groups is preferred.
• Service-oriented, proactive and reliable, able to work independently and collaborate with team members.

Required skills

• Analytical skills to resolve escalated end-user incidents and walk-up support requests.
• Ability to prioritize incidents and communicate timelines and expectations to end users.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
