Marketing Assistant Manager

About the role

The Marketing Assistant Manager will support the regional retail marketing strategy for a specific product line within a leading bank. You will coordinate the creation, execution, and analysis of marketing programmes, ensuring alignment with the bank’s objectives and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development and rollout of regional retail marketing programmes.
• Generate marketing concepts and prepare detailed time‑plans for communications.
• Write comprehensive briefs for agencies and manage day‑to‑day production of marketing material.
• Review and approve English and Arabic copy, ensuring brand consistency.
• Handle logistics for material distribution and event sponsorships.
• Evaluate media plans, recommend cost‑effective solutions, and manage agency cost estimates.
• Track budgets, prepare spend reports, and ensure accurate expense approvals.
• Monitor competitor activity and produce post‑campaign analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of hands‑on marketing experience in a multinational bank, large corporation, or advertising agency.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Creative thinker with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Excellent copywriting in English and Arabic.
• Strong understanding of regional media, advertising agency workflows, and production houses.
• Proficient computer skills for budgeting and reporting.
