Math Teacher – International School

About the role

Amman Academy, an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Amman, Jordan, is looking for a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join its bilingual English‑Arabic community. The successful candidate will deliver mathematics instruction to students across the school’s age range, supporting the academy’s commitment to educational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics lessons in line with the IB curriculum.
• Prepare and conduct written and subject‑specific assessments as required.
• Present demo classes during the recruitment process.
• Uphold the AA Values of Creativity, Innovation, Integrity, Well‑being, Collaboration, Respect, Discipline and Educational Excellence.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive environment and comply with safeguarding and vetting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of teaching experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Previous knowledge of the IB system is a plus.
