Mid-Senior Full Stack Java Developer

About the role

Aspire is hiring a Mid-Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern frontend technologies. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, building backend services and frontend applications while working closely with QA, DevOps, product and business teams. The position is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications with Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build responsive frontend applications with React.js or Angular and integrate them with backend APIs and third-party services.
• Design, develop and optimize SQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Perform unit, integration and API testing; participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues and support CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with QA, DevOps, product and business teams.

Required profile

• 4-7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Awareness of IT security best practices (ISO/SOC or similar).

Required skills

• Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• React.js or Angular, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle.
• Git, Docker and CI/CD tools.
• JUnit/Mockito or similar testing frameworks.
