Multi Property AV Technician

About the role

The Multi Property AV Technician ensures all audio‑visual, projection, lighting and conferencing equipment at The Westin Saraya Aqaba Resort & Spa operates flawlessly for events and meetings. You will support guests, staff and managers by setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting AV systems in banquet and meeting rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and troubleshoot AV, projection, lighting and conferencing equipment.
• Oversee equipment installation in banquet and meeting rooms and verify against Banquet Event Orders.
• Repair, clean, label, and report any faulty equipment.
• Dress and tape down loose cables, ensuring a safe and tidy environment.
• Assist guests with equipment usage, promote additional AV services and monitor performance.
• Break‑down, secure and store equipment after events.
• Follow Marriott Visual Productions SOPs, safety policies and company procedures.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related AV or event‑technology experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
