Operations Coordinator

About the role

Careem’s Shops team is expanding its marketplace offering and is looking for an Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth day‑to‑day processes for merchants and customers. You will act as the bridge between partners and internal teams, helping to optimise order flow, inventory accuracy and promotional campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operational metrics such as order fulfilment, stock availability and merchant response times.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants, providing guidance, resolving issues and ensuring they are equipped with Careem’s tools.
• Maintain accurate product listings, pricing and availability to minimise out‑of‑stock situations.
• Assist merchants in setting up promotions and discounts, tracking performance and ensuring timely execution.
• Collaborate with logistics, commercial and customer support teams to address operational challenges and improve processes.
• Identify bottlenecks in order flow and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Strong partner‑focused attitude and excellent relationship‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to maintain high quality and accuracy of merchant catalogs.
• Proactive communicator who can work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools for data analysis.
• Familiarity with internal SaaS platforms or merchant management systems.
