Payroll Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The role requires strict confidentiality and a solid understanding of payroll procedures, taxes, and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll on schedule, verifying time records, overtime, bonuses, deductions and benefits.
• Calculate wages, taxes, and payroll adjustments while maintaining up‑to‑date employee payroll records.
• Handle new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes and ensure data is correctly entered into payroll and HR systems.
• Reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and other teams to address payroll‑related issues.
• Prepare payroll reports, support tax filings and compliance, and assist with audits.
• Monitor payroll deadlines and stay informed about policy and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, accounting, finance or HR.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
