Project Coordinator – UNDP Governance, Rule of Law & Peacebuilding Hub

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Governance, Rule of Law, and Peacebuilding (GRP) Hub in delivering integrated solutions that strengthen democratic governance, human rights and peacebuilding across UNDP programmes. The role bridges the Crisis Bureau and the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support, working closely with local and regional governments, partners and UN agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning, implementation and monitoring for GRP Hub initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration between the Crisis Bureau, BPPS and external partners, ensuring alignment with UNDP’s strategic objectives.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and data dashboards.
• Support the development of partnerships with UN system entities, international financial institutions, civil society and the private sector.
• Assist in organizing workshops, trainings and stakeholder meetings at local, regional and global levels.
• Track project budgets, timelines and deliverables, flagging risks and proposing mitigation measures.

Required profile

• University degree in international development, public administration, political science or a related field.
• Proven experience in project coordination or management within multilateral or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of governance, rule of law and peacebuilding concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
