Quality Analyst (Software Testing)

About the role

The Quality Analyst will support the Business and Technology teams by executing regression, functional and integration tests for each release cycle. You will ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing features and that the system meets the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and document detailed test scripts based on requirements.
• Validate test results, log defects and track them through resolution.
• Perform positive, negative and regression testing to confirm system behavior.
• Collaborate with test leads, developers, release managers and external teams to define testing requirements.
• Report and escalate issues promptly to achieve timely closure and interface certification.
• Maintain test result history, versioned issue logs and defect trackers.
• Ensure zero errors before production deployment of batch and online interfaces.
• Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in software testing, preferably in payments or card processing.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with systems integration testing of web services and XML interfaces.
• Familiarity with Agile testing approaches such as TDD, BDD and ATDD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
