Ruby on Rails Backend Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend services that power our coaching platform. You will work closely with product, frontend, data, and QA teams to deliver robust, high‑performance APIs and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Create and document APIs for mobile apps, web platforms, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on backend engineering experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Ruby on Rails
• SQL and relational database design (PostgreSQL preferred)
• API development for web and mobile applications
• Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and AWS (nice‑to‑have)
