Senior Inventory Officer

About the role

The Senior Inventory Officer will lead inventory accuracy, stock control, and operational efficiency across multiple warehouses and fulfillment centers in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment. You will work closely with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure optimal stock availability and smooth order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily inventory movements (inbound, outbound, returns, adjustments, transfers) and maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, full stock audits, and investigate discrepancies to implement corrective actions.
• Track damaged, expired, missing, and non‑sellable inventory and support inventory aging analysis.
• Identify overstock, understock, and slow‑moving items; coordinate replenishment planning with Supply Chain and Buying teams.
• Prepare regular reports on stock accuracy, shrinkage, aging, cover, and operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure compliance with SOPs during receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Support WMS/ERP process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and participate in automation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or stock control within e‑commerce, retail or logistics.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes and warehouse operations.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
