Senior Software Engineer – AIDA-AI & Advanced Data Analytics

About the role

Arab Bank is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its AIDA‑AI & Advanced Data Analytics team. You will build enterprise‑grade, full‑stack applications that power agentic AI platforms and drive measurable business impact across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy full‑stack web applications using Python (FastAPI) and React/Next.js.
• Create responsive user interfaces and high‑performance backend services and APIs.
• Integrate internal systems and external AI/LLM endpoints.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and evolve database architectures (Cloud SQL, PostgreSQL, Firestore, MongoDB).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate complex requirements into automated workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional software engineering or application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI) and JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Next.js).
• Experience deploying and managing applications on GCP; Azure knowledge is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with relational (PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL) and NoSQL (Firestore, MongoDB) databases.
• Solid understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and system integrations.
