Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Equiti is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen the reliability, resiliency, and observability of its cloud platforms. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure high‑availability services for our fintech products.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the Resiliency pillar of the Well‑Architected Framework across designs and operations.
• Design and run Chaos Engineering experiments to validate system fault tolerance.
• Assess and oversee cloud migration and modernization workloads, minimizing service disruption.
• Develop and refactor observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces) for existing cloud infrastructure.
• Align observability practices at service and organizational levels.
• Continuously evaluate cloud deployments for compliance with reliability standards.
• Identify gaps in observability and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Mentor engineers on reliability engineering and operational best practices.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, handling incidents and post‑mortems.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of cloud experience with Microsoft Azure.
• 3+ years in a Site Reliability, Platform, or Reliability Engineering role.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and Application Performance Management tools.
