Soft Skills & Entrepreneurship Trainer for Women in Jordan

About the role

The Sustainable Research and Development Center (SRD) is looking for experienced trainers to deliver a comprehensive soft‑skills and entrepreneurship program for women entrepreneurs in Jordan. The assignment runs from June 2026 to January 2027 and targets participants from host communities in Irbid Governorate and the Azraq refugee camp.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver interactive training sessions on soft skills, life skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business planning, communication, self‑confidence and goal setting.
• Facilitate advanced modules covering marketing, finance, innovation, market analysis and business growth.
• Support participants during group work, practical exercises, business idea development and pitching activities.
• Use participatory, learner‑centered methods such as case studies, role‑plays, and group work.
• Complete attendance sheets and basic training documentation.
• Coordinate with the project team on schedules, logistics and reporting.
• Uphold safeguarding, ethical and professional standards when working with women, youth, refugees and vulnerable groups.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years proven experience delivering soft‑skills, life‑skills, entrepreneurship or business‑development training.
• Strong facilitation and communication abilities, especially with diverse women and youth groups.
• Experience with vulnerable communities, refugees or women entrepreneurs is an asset.
• Fluency in Arabic; English knowledge is a plus.
• High cultural sensitivity, commitment to gender equality and inclusion.
• Availability to train in Irbid Governorate and/or Azraq Camp during the project period.
• Ability to work within a wider training team and follow agreed plans and reporting requirements.
