Staff Accountant – Full‑Time Accounting Role

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this full‑time position you will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, credit‑card, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation and payment handling.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare account analyses, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Staff Accountant, Accountant, or similar accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency using accounting software and ERP systems.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with ERP systems and other accounting software platforms.
