Steward – Utility Cleaner

About the role

The Steward (Utility Cleaner) supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments, including kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. This full‑time position ensures guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linens, and a safe, hygienic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dining ware, and laundry items.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens between hotel areas safely.
• Follow safety protocols, report accidents, and uphold quality standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior work or supervisory experience needed.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform overhead and low‑reach tasks.
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and excellent guest service.
