Supervisor – Occupational Safety & Health

About the role

The Supervisor of Occupational Safety & Health will lead the hotel’s safety program, ensuring a safe work environment for all associates. You will assess workplace risks, inspect hazardous conditions, and promote a culture of health and safety throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard inspections in all hotel areas.
• Monitor equipment, facilities, and work practices to identify and mitigate safety concerns.
• Develop, implement, and track safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Maintain accurate safety records and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Engage staff in safety initiatives and verify adherence to quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline with a specialization in Occupational Safety and Hygiene.
• Relevant experience in safety management, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Ability to complete safety certifications and training as required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
