Fixed-Wing Combat Pilot SME – Short Term Consultancy

About the role

Culmen International is seeking a Fixed‑Wing Combat Pilot Subject‑Matter Expert for a short‑term consultancy in Jordan. The consultant will work directly with the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) to develop and present an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) for F‑16, AH‑1 and UH‑60 platforms, focusing on operations, training and sustainment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a structured review of RJAF F‑16, AH‑1 and UH‑60 missions, including coalition operations, to identify capability gaps.
• Develop a platform‑focused AoA that evaluates modifications to current operational and training tasks and proposes alternative aircraft solutions.
• Prepare and deliver a comprehensive out‑brief to RJAF senior leadership by July FY2026.
• Coordinate with U.S. Government and partner‑nation stakeholders, facilitating high‑level engagements and representing ISG interests.

Required profile

• Former O‑6 with command experience at the Squadron, Group or Wing level.
• Demonstrated expertise in U.S. defense planning, strategy development, and unit readiness assessment.
• Graduate of an advanced warfighting school (e.g., SAASS, SAMS, SAW).
• Secret security clearance.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication abilities, including drafting strategic reports for senior leaders.

Required skills

• Qualified pilot for F‑16, F‑18 or F‑35 aircraft.
• Proficiency in in‑person and virtual facilitation techniques and tools.
