Sustainability Engineer / LEED Specialist

About the role

ASALI Engineering Consulting & Project Management is looking for an experienced Sustainability Engineer / LEED AP BD+C Specialist to lead green building strategies and manage LEED certification for sustainable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate sustainability and green building strategies across design and construction phases.
• Manage LEED BD+C certification requirements, prepare scorecards, compliance trackers and submission documentation.
• Integrate sustainability requirements with architectural, structural, MEP, landscape and specialist consultants.
• Review designs, specifications and material submittals against LEED criteria and identify performance improvement opportunities in energy, water, materials and indoor environmental quality.
• Support sustainability studies, participate in design workshops, and provide technical guidance on green building standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Sustainability or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainable building projects.
• LEED AP BD+C certification (mandatory) with proven experience on LEED‑certified projects.
• Strong understanding of LEED BD+C credits, documentation and certification procedures.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus.
