Technical Advisor – Nutrition (MENAU & Asia)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking an experienced Nutrition Technical Advisor to provide high‑quality technical assistance to country programs across the Middle East, North Africa, Ukraine (MENAU) and Asia regions. You will support existing nutrition initiatives and help establish new programs, ensuring interventions are evidence‑based, data‑driven, and aligned with best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver context‑relevant nutrition technical assistance throughout the program cycle.
• Collaborate with country teams, partners, and donors to design, implement, and evaluate nutrition interventions.
• Provide capacity‑building support, including training and mentorship for local staff.
• Contribute to the development of evidence, research agendas, and policy recommendations.
• Monitor program performance, analyze data, and share lessons learned across regions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Nutrition Technical Advisor or similar role in humanitarian settings.
• Strong understanding of nutrition programming, standards, and guidelines.
• Experience working in MENAU and/or Asian contexts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and adapt solutions to local needs.
