Accountant – Amman

About the role

REDA Chemicals is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Amman. The role involves managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily journal entries for receivables, revenue and other transactions.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify balances.
• Prepare, review and post expense payments, validating supporting documentation.
• Allocate and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial records for audit and internal control.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, tax regulations and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations and statutory filings on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
