Accountant – Finance & Accounts

About the role

Arkan Tech, an IT solutions provider focused on ERP integration and process automation, is looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee its finance and accounting functions across IT, web development and service projects.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting, including invoices, receipts and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Maintain accounting records for ERP, web development and IT service projects.
• Track project‑wise income, expenses and profitability.
• Process customer advances, deferred revenue and revenue recognition.
• Administer salaries, developer/freelancer costs, software subscriptions, hosting and other IT expenses.
• Perform intercompany transactions and reconciliations with sister companies.
• Conduct bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and trial balance.
• Support budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, audit and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an IT, ERP, software or services environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERPNext (preferred).
