Accountant – Finance & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and review accounting records and financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and support audit activities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handle tax‑related matters, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
• Manage social security and pension contributions, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory filings.
• Uphold company policies, code of conduct, and statutory requirements in all accounting activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Intermediate HR experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
