Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team at the Me Delivery headquarters. The role involves managing daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate records, processing payroll, and monitoring receivables and captains’ balances.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post all financial transactions and journal entries in the accounting system.
• Ensure timely recording of revenues, expenses, receivables, payables and other financial data.
• Maintain and reconcile cash, bank, receivable and payable accounts.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll, including salaries, deductions, advances and adjustments.
• Monitor and reconcile captains’ batches, outstanding balances and follow up on overdue amounts.
• Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and identify bad debts for management review.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with month‑end closing, audits and other finance‑related activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and follow‑up abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
