Accountant

About the role

The Accountant supports the company’s day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date. The role involves processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month‑end closing and tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record invoices, expenses, receipts, payments and other financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare and reconcile bank, supplier, customer and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
• Support inventory and fixed‑asset accounting, including reconciliations and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with VAT calculations, filings and compliance with applicable tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in an accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time‑management.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential financial information.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
