Accountant (Saudi Arabia Experience)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant to own the full financial cycle for our Saudi operations. The role involves managing accounting software, tax compliance, payroll and utilities while leveraging AI‑driven tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly and monthly accounting cycles independently.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers using Zoho Books.
• Handle VAT, Zakat and other statutory filings through the ZATCA portal in line with Saudi regulations.
• Process monthly payroll, including GOSI registrations and payments.
• Ensure timely payment of electricity, utility bills and corporate expenses.
• Monitor accounts receivable, issue statements and conduct professional collection calls.
• Utilise AI tools for data extraction, automated reporting and error reduction.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and drive tasks to completion.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi financial, VAT, Zakat and labor/social security regulations.
• Proven track record of integrating AI solutions into accounting processes.
