Accountant (Saudi Arabia Experience)

About the role

Nextwo is looking for a proactive, self‑driven Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia. You will own the full financial management cycle, handling Zoho Books, ZATCA tax filings, utility payments and GOSI compliance while leveraging AI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly and monthly accounting cycles independently, without reminders.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers using Zoho Books.
• Handle all ZATCA portal filings and declarations in strict compliance with Saudi regulations.
• Process monthly payroll, including GOSI registrations, updates and timely payments.
• Ensure timely payment of electricity, utility bills and corporate expenses.
• Monitor accounts receivable, issue statements and conduct professional collection follow‑ups.
• Utilize AI‑driven tools for data extraction, automated Excel tasks and Zoho features to streamline reporting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and solve problems without direction.
• Strong understanding of Saudi financial regulations, VAT, Zakat and labor/social security laws.

Required skills

• Deep proficiency in Zoho Books.
• Experience with the ZATCA tax portal.
• Experience with the GOSI social security portal.
• Ability to integrate AI tools for automated data extraction and AI‑enhanced Excel/Zoho functions.
