Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Reporting and Financial Planning team. In this role you will support the finance function by delivering accurate financial reports, forecasts and analyses that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial reports and performance summaries.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including revenue and expense analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing activities.
• Collect, review, and organize financial data for analysis and forecasting.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets or forecasts.
• Assist in preparing budget and forecast templates, working files, and presentations.
• Reconcile and verify financial data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Contribute to analyzing financial and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
• Support ad‑hoc financial analyses and assist in building financial models as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance reporting processes and data quality.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in accounting or finance‑related roles.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
