About the role
This traineeship offers a hands‑on introduction to the finance function, focusing on day‑to‑day accounts payable activities. You will support the finance team by processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and preparing payment requests while gaining practical experience in financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Review and process supplier invoices and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing payment runs and vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and support month‑end closing activities.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
- Perform administrative and ad‑hoc finance tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience or academic exposure to finance/accounting.
- Strong communication skills and customer‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to analyse data accurately and pay close attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Experience using an ERP system for financial transactions.
