Advanced Business Applications Professional (Back‑End Development)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated professional to join Zain’s Advanced Business Applications team. The role focuses on back‑end development, designing and delivering server‑side services, APIs, data infrastructure and telecom integration layers that power our division’s solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and sales requirements into robust back‑end solutions and integrate them with existing systems.
• Monitor server and application performance to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Develop technical platforms, programs and integration back‑ends for Business Support Systems, Customer Care Applications and related touchpoints (e.g., FTTH Contractors, Corporate SMS, CMS, HR solutions, commission engines, CDRs).
• Collaborate with front‑end and mobile developers to implement required APIs and integration contracts.
• Build back‑end platforms using Java, Spring Boot, PHP, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle DB, REST APIs, Web Services and micro‑services.
• Support migrations and integration of legacy applications.
• Participate in code reviews, applying feedback to improve code quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant back‑end development experience.
