Agricultural Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Agricultural Site Engineer to lead daily field operations and support the successful execution of farm development projects. The role combines supervision of on‑site teams, coordination of contractors and suppliers, and continuous monitoring of crop and infrastructure performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily field activities and track site progress.
• Coordinate contractors, operators, laborers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee irrigation installation, land preparation, and farm infrastructure works.
• Manage planting, irrigation, fertilisation, pest control, and harvesting operations.
• Monitor crop performance and apply agronomic recommendations.
• Track machinery utilisation, schedule maintenance, and handle field logistics.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports and keep accurate operational records.
• Ensure compliance with project quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in agricultural projects, farm operations, irrigation systems, or field crop production.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and field teams.
• Strong communication, coordination and reporting capabilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic project reporting tools.
