AI Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Associate)

About the role

Join PwC Middle East’s Chief Technology and AI Office as an AI Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through comprehensive manual testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Conduct UI and user‑experience testing to verify consistency and usability.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and related tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and meet quality standards.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing and ensure readiness for release.
• Apply black‑box and white‑box testing methodologies to validate system behavior.
• Manage defect lifecycle, retesting resolved issues and confirming fixes.
• Execute security testing to uncover vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to QA best practices.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on manual testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, Postman, Fiddler, Eclipse, and VS Code.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
