AI Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Manager

About the role

The AI Software Quality Assurance Engineer – Manager will lead the QA function for AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions within PwC Middle East’s Chief Technology and AI Office. You will work with cross‑functional teams to embed responsible AI principles and quality‑by‑design throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish testing standards and quality frameworks for AI and ML solutions.
• Define validation approaches for model performance, reliability, accuracy and governance.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Teams to ensure responsible AI practices.
• Lead QA strategy, governance and quality‑assurance activities across multiple projects.
• Manage end‑to‑end testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, performance, security and user‑acceptance testing.
• Implement risk‑based testing approaches and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Drive quality‑engineering transformation through automation, CI/CD and continuous testing.
• Oversee defect management, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with experience delivering QA for AI/ML solutions.
• Proven ability to define and enforce quality standards and governance.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with engineering, data science and product teams.
• Leadership experience in managing QA activities across multiple delivery teams.
