Alternate Site Manager – Secret Clearance (AFCAP V)

About the role

The Alternate Site Manager (ASM) supports day‑to‑day management of Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services (SWA TAS) at an assigned installation. Reporting to the Site Manager, the ASM ensures safe, efficient aircraft arrival, servicing, and departure in a 24/7/365 austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce ZERO‑Harm workplace standards, flight‑line safety, FOD prevention, and tool control.
• Oversee all TAS operations—arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn‑around, and departure—to meet Performance Work Statement objectives.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor shift personnel, ensuring operational discipline and quality execution.
• Act as Site Manager in their absence, maintaining full authority over daily decisions and continuity.
• Coordinate daily tasking, assign work, monitor execution, and resolve operational challenges.
• Schedule personnel to sustain 24/7/365 coverage, including surge and contingency periods.
• Inspect and audit work for compliance with technical orders, airfield procedures, and contractual requirements, applying corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Valid Secret Clearance.
• Proven experience in managing flight‑line or aircraft support operations.
• Strong knowledge of airfield safety standards, Technical Orders, and environmental, safety, and quality assurance regulations.
• Ability to lead diverse teams in high‑tempo, austere settings.
