Analyzer Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an experienced Analyzer Engineer to design, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analyzer systems for the oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical sectors. The role involves leading turnaround maintenance, supporting customers during commissioning, and delivering technical training.

Key responsibilities

• Execute analyzer turnaround maintenance and oversee service projects.
• Interpret, recommend, and implement design improvements and upgrades for analyzers.
• Review spare part requirements and maintain documentation systems.
• Operate and maintain analyzer workstations, software tools, and data acquisition systems.
• Conduct specialized technical training for analyzer technicians.
• Evaluate and optimize sample conditioning systems to ensure reliable flow and pressure.
• Initiate and manage preventive maintenance schedules for online analyzers.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas chromatographs, oxygen, combustion, hydrocarbon dew point, and CEMS analyzers.
• Provide technical support during commissioning, start‑up, and emergency maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for training, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at Yokogawa facilities and customer sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering or a related field (or Diploma with equivalent experience).
• 5–12 years of experience in analyzer systems design, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and training within Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industries.
