Appian Developer – Build Low‑Code Business Applications

About the role

We are looking for an Appian Developer to design and deliver scalable low‑code business applications on the Appian platform. You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to automate workflows, integrate systems and enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Appian applications, including interfaces, process models, records and reports.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and optimized workflows.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using REST or SOAP APIs and databases.
• Create reusable components and plug‑ins as needed.
• Perform unit testing, debugging and performance tuning.
• Work closely with QA, DevOps and business users to ensure quality delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for applications and processes.
• Ensure applications follow security, scalability and best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing on the Appian platform.
• Strong understanding of BPMN process modeling.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP API integration.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript.
• Problem‑solving and analytical mindset.
• Appian certification (Associate or Senior Developer) is a plus.
