Application Developer (Fixed Term Contract)

About the role

RS2 is looking for a passionate Full Stack Application Developer to join its expanding team. You will work on secure payment software used by leading banks and financial institutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions for Tier‑1 financial clients across the full software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers and cross‑functional teams to translate client requirements into robust applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and quality assurance activities while adhering to Agile practices.

Required profile

• A degree in ICT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of professional software development experience (or comparable internship/academic projects).
• Ability to work independently and within diverse, multicultural teams.

Required skills

• Git, Maven, Jenkins, XML, JSON, jQuery.
• Java, Spring Framework, RESTful web services.
• JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, Vue.js (or similar framework).
• Basic UX principles, Agile methodology.
• Exposure to Oracle database management systems (preferred).
