Arabic WordPress Specialist – Front‑end & Back‑end Development

About the role

GTECH Information Technology is looking for a hands‑on WordPress Specialist who can take a website from design through front‑end and back‑end implementation. The role focuses on creating pixel‑perfect, responsive WordPress sites for Arabic and bilingual markets, ensuring right‑to‑left layouts and proper Arabic typography.

Key responsibilities

• Convert Figma, Adobe XD or PSD designs into responsive, pixel‑accurate WordPress themes.
• Build and customize themes and child themes using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript and PHP.
• Develop custom functionality with ACF, custom post types, taxonomies and custom plugins.
• Create and maintain Arabic/RTL and bilingual sites, handling RTL layouts, Arabic fonts and multilingual plugins (WPML, Polylang).
• Work with page builders such as Elementor and Gutenberg, choosing custom code when needed.
• Set up and optimise WooCommerce stores where required.
• Improve site performance for Core Web Vitals, speed and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Apply WordPress security best practices and manage updates, backups and migrations.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate with designers, project managers and the SEO team.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on WordPress development, preferably in an agency or multi‑site environment.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong reading and writing skills; fluent English for team communication.
• Proven ability to build and QA Arabic/RTL and bilingual websites.
• Experience turning design files into clean, responsive WordPress builds.
