Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

Kerten Hospitality is hiring an Assistant Front Office Manager for Cloud 7 Residence Ayla in Aqaba, Jordan. The property is a waterfront destination with 75 serviced residences and a presidential villa, located in Ayla Marina Village near the Red Sea coast. The role supports the Front Office Manager in running daily front office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations, including reception, reservations and guest relations.
• Supervise the front office team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high service standards.
• Ensure efficient check-in and check-out, accurate billing and proper handling of guest accounts.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments for a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor daily operations, occupancy and reports, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support the training and development of front office team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in front office operations, including supervisory experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio or similar).
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
