Associate Digital Marketing Officer – UNRWA

About the role

The Associate Digital Marketing Officer will support UNRWA’s global digital fundraising strategy, helping to grow individual giving and expand the donor base. Working from the HQ in Amman, the incumbent reports to the Donor Engagement Officer and collaborates with internal and external teams to create compelling donor‑facing content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an Individual Giving content strategy using storytelling, fundraising campaigns, emergency appeals and other donor‑facing products.
• Plan and coordinate fundraising content across email, paid media, social media, video and website channels, guided by performance data and audience insights.
• Provide input for donor acquisition, retention and reactivation campaigns, tailoring content to different audience segments and stages of the donor journey.
• Create high‑quality fundraising copy and visual assets such as digital ads, social media posts, banners and other campaign materials.
• Work with the Digital Analyst to translate performance metrics into content improvements.
• Support timely reporting on digital fundraising activities and prepare talking points and presentations for the Division.
• Supervise and guide the Content team, ensuring quality and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with creative agencies, internal content teams and field staff, preparing briefs and reviewing deliverables.
