Associate Manager, Commercial Development

About the role

The Associate Manager, Commercial Development will drive category growth across the country by creating and executing channel and customer plans based on shopper insights. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on commercial execution to deliver compelling selling stories and meet category targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to the ICP process, ensuring timely cross‑functional collaboration and alignment with category, brand, channel, shopper and customer growth opportunities.
• Implement Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) to capture key opportunities during peak periods and feed insights into the MBPC process.
• Execute the Omni‑Channel Category strategy, delivering the “triple win” of customer, category and Nestlé growth.
• Develop and maintain preferred‑supplier relationships with prioritized customers, understanding their needs and retail landscape.
• Deliver channel‑specific plans to win at the point of purchase and ensure category nuances are incorporated.
• Lead shopper research initiatives, embedding shopper data and insights into commercial plans.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a commercial role (sales or marketing) within FMCG.
• Proven track record of achieving results.
• Strong understanding of shopper needs, trends, and shopping missions.
• Knowledge of wholesalers, hypermarkets, e‑retailers, convenience stores and overall retail landscape.
• Good commercial grasp of pricing and promotions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
