Backend Tech Lead (Python)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Backend Tech Lead (Python) to join a leading financial services company.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop new features and products.
• Define technical specifications, design architecture, and write clean, maintainable code.
• Implement unit and integration tests and ensure software quality, security, and extensibility.
• Present implementations to senior leadership and participate in code reviews.
• Handle additional duties as required by management.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of Python development experience, with at least 1 year as a technical lead.
• Strong knowledge of software design, architecture, and service‑oriented architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, and containerised applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins and with web security best practices.
