Barista

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Barista to join our premium food & beverage concept at The Walk in Amman. The successful candidate will craft high‑quality hot and cold coffee drinks, provide friendly service, and help create a vibrant guest experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based and other hot and cold beverages to consistent standards.
• Operate espresso machines and related coffee equipment confidently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and service area.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service and handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Monitor stock levels, report replenishment needs, and support opening and closing procedures.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a barista is preferred.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and service‑oriented personality.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Operation of espresso machines and coffee equipment.
• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
