Beach Club Lifeguard

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at our beach club in Aqaba. The role involves monitoring the swimming area, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Observe swimmers and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when needed.
• Monitor the pool deck for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, and guests in distress.
• Enforce facility rules and promote a safe, fun atmosphere.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including towel handling, deck cleaning, and equipment inspection.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and assist individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance.
