Beauty Category Manager – Supplier Acquisition

About the role

The Beauty Category Manager – Supplier Acquisition is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Amman. You will be responsible for building and managing the beauty product portfolio, bringing new suppliers on board, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience that aligns with Dumyah’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the beauty category portfolio, including assortment planning and pricing.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new beauty suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners.
• Analyze category performance, sales data, margins and market trends to drive data‑based decisions.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and pricing to ensure profitability.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to guarantee product availability.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences to optimise assortment.

Required profile

• Strong Category Management experience, preferably in beauty, personal care, e‑commerce or FMCG.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Proven contract negotiation and procurement capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with sales and marketing to boost category performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with category management tools.
