Business Operations Specialist

About the role

Elements is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support its fast‑growing team. This fully remote position will be the operational backbone for the company, ensuring day‑to‑day business processes run smoothly while maintaining strict financial compliance across the GCC, especially in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily business operations with a focus on regional financial compliance, corporate structuring, and reporting.
• Oversee internal HR administration, including onboarding, payroll coordination, and alignment with local labor laws.
• Handle corporate administrative tasks, cross‑border vendor management, and internal tooling.
• Ensure corporate tax, VAT, and Zakat compliance for entities operating in KSA and the UAE.
• Maintain operational financial records in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for regional regulatory bodies, auditors, and financial institutions.

Required profile

• Strong professional background in accounting or finance (CPA, ACCA, CA, or relevant bachelor’s degree).
• Hands‑on experience with KSA and UAE tax, VAT, corporate tax, and Zakat regulations.
• Solid understanding of IFRS standards and statutory reporting.
• Practical experience in HR administration, payroll processing, or general business administration within the GCC.
• Prior experience in business or financial operations at a fast‑growing startup.
• High‑agency mindset with meticulous attention to detail and strong cross‑functional communication.
