Cash For Work (CfW) Assistant

About the role

The Cash for Work (CfW) / Incentive‑Based Volunteering (IBV) Assistant supports the implementation of recruitment, rotation and operational processes for CfW and IBV programmes in Jordan, ensuring compliance with SOPs, donor requirements and Jordanian legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, selection and rotation of CfWers/IBVs, managing announcements, applications, screening, tests and interviews.
• Maintain accurate data in the RAIS system, support reporting and archive programme documents.
• Verify attendance and payment records, coordinate with finance to ensure timely cash distributions.
• Coordinate with UNHCR, municipalities, CBOs and other stakeholders to align activities with regulatory requirements.
• Provide induction, orientation on responsibilities and code of conduct for new participants.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in Cash for Work, Incentive‑Based Volunteering or related humanitarian programmes.
• HR experience in recruitment and personnel management, preferably with refugees or vulnerable communities.
• Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English (desirable).
• Strong coordination skills and ability to meet deadlines in a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with digital data collection and programme management systems such as RAIS, SurveyCTO or Kobo.
