Casual Lifeguard – Full‑Time

About the role

Join the hospitality team at a Marriott resort in Aqaba as a Casual Lifeguard. You will ensure the safety of guests using the pool area, create a welcoming atmosphere, and respond quickly to any emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when needed.
• Observe the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, or distressed guests.
• Enforce facility rules and promote a safe, enjoyable environment.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and support injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Uphold company policies, confidentiality, and professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or run for extended periods.
